Kwang Mo
Mo Kwang es un fotógrafo coreano (nacido en 1979 en Seúl, donde vive y trabaja) que manipula hábilmente sus imágenes para asemejarlas a sus recuerdos de infancia y sueños, creando universos sin límite, espacios atemporales, de otro mundo, donde sus personajes parecen cómodos.
Kwang Mo estudió
formalmente fotografía en la Escuela
Kaywon de Arte y Diseño en Corea. Fue galardonado con el Premio al fotógrafo joven en
la Daegu
Photo Biennale y un plaza en el SeMA (Seleccionado Artistas
Emergentes) del Museo de
Arte de Seúl en 2010.
En 2010, Mo también fue nominado para el premio Prix Pictet en
Francia. En sus fotografías viradas al sepia que fueron seleccionadas para la
exposición New
Photography in Korea II, difumina
la línea que separa la fantasía de la realidad.
Ha realizado diversas exposiciones en grupo, como las de New Photography in Korea I y II, en Pekín y París, y en solitario, como Third Story en
la Galerie Paris-Beijing en París en 2013.
